This November saw the advent of a regular charity football match in Manchester to raise funds for Noor Orphans Fund. Ten participants took place, all aged around 24 and 25 and each contributed £20 to the Noor Orphans Fund Orphan Sponsorship Scheme. The participants were all from different backgrounds and religions, united in their desire to help others and support Iraqi orphans. This is the true spirit of charity upon which we thrive, knowing no boundaries and concerned only with helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
We’re happy to say that the event was a great success, with all the participants thoroughly enjoying themselves and raising a total of £200. The next match is scheduled to take place this coming March, but the players are also keen to expand this initiative and play against teams from different cities, raising even more money for the orphans. This is a great opportunity to have fun whilst supporting a noble cause.Leave a reply →
